What is Character County?
CharacterCounty!™ is the name given to a series of highly educational and entertaining musical programs about character and its importance. Patti Snyder, Character County's writer, producer, and performer uses many unique props and full body puppets to help teach the character lessons.
Each of these fun, fast-paced shows lasts 40-45 minutes and captures the audience's attention from start to finish. These informative shows feature upbeat songs, inspiring stories, humorous dialogue, and active audience participation. Although written for children, adults love these programs as much as the kids!
About Patti Snyder
Patti Snyder received BS Ed. and MA Ed. degrees from Western Carolina University and is a songwriter and self-taught multi-instrumentalist. She has taught and entertained children's groups since 1966 and is also a former educator in South Carolina public schools.
In addition to writing the songs and scripts for the "Character County!"™ series, she has written songs for special events and programs including the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
Patti and her husband Louis live in Marietta, GA, and they have 4 grown children.
